yes, it’s a convenience store, and yes, it is in fact run by a lovely man called Paul!
you’ll find all the usual stuff in here (including slush puppiesoh hell yeah!), including barr’s cream soda — haven’t had one of those in years, and they are as good as i remember.
Paul himslelf is a legend — i was busting for a pee, asked him for directions to the nearest pub, and he let me use his own private bathroom. both a gentleman and a scholar
