Saturday night was definetly my last ever Chinese take away as I slept from 3:00 am until 5:45 am when I started to feel pains in my stomach and back.
I then started tossing and turning in my bed and it was only a matter of minutes later that I had brought up the big sized spring rolls mostly bean sprouts and the vegetables.
it was an awful experience and I lacked in so much sleep that I went back to sleep at 9:00 am and lasted until 12:45 pm this afternoon all in I lost a total of 5 hours of sleep and only had 3 where as the average amount of sleeping hours for an adult is 8 required.
I am very sad and so emotional that I can’t eat one of my favourite Asian cuisines again, this also means I cannot go to any Chinese restaurants anywhere in the world even if my friends want to invite me out for Chinese food and definetly no more Chinese take away’s ever again in my whole entire life.

Avoid at all costs– the premises are filthy and have been reported to the environmental health dept by local residents (I know; I’m one of them!!). This place is a total health hazard– if it wasn’t for just eat deliveries, this place would NOT be open. I’d seldom be this harsh in a review, but I’d genuinely recommend you stay away from here!

So if the reviews on their website are to be believed then a year ago this place was GREAT so I ask: Hey! Wha’ happened?
I like to try new places & spotted this Chinese take-​away on the JustEat website and well, I probably should’ve known better as we have a had a few bad experiences of places that come ‘recommended’ with 4 or 5 stars on JustEat… this place was unfortunately another one to add to the list. Firstly because we have had problems with food not even arriving when ordering on JE (another problem) we now always phone orders in rather than place them online (for them to forever get lost in cyberspace so they say), this shouldn’t be an issue. This becomes an issue when the person on the other end of the phone does NOT understand what it is you are trying to say to them, as we encountered. Firstly they did even understand the phrase ‘Home Delivery’ and this had to be repeated a few times, not a great start… then when ordering our meals all but 2 things also had to be repeated over & over until they understood (or so we thought) what we wanted to eat. Pretty frustrating. Finally after the laughable rigmarole of the ordering they told us our food would be 40mins. Fine.
One thing in their favour to them is the order did take pretty much 40 minutes & the delivery person was very friendly but then upon checking our food we realised that 2 things were wrong ~ my partner had ordered the chicken fried rice main course & I had asked for the chicken toast for my starter and both weren’t there and in their place were regular fried rice (small) and some pork ribs?! I don’t know HOW they could get the order so wrong? Especially as most things were repeated several times. We phoned Ruby back & not really apologising they just said they could bring us the right meals but it would take another 40 minutes! My partner wasn’t happy with this so he told them to just forget it. The rest of our food would be very cold in another 40 minutes. So my partner had a tiny meal he didn’t enjoy & even mine wasn’t nice either ~ the chicken had a strange taste & texture which was pretty unpleasant. Even the rice & chips weren’t good either. Oh dear.
They phoned back again 10 minutes later & again offered to bring us the things they had forgotten but again they said it would still be 40 minutes as they were busy… whilst it was good of them to phone back I did think telling us 40 minutes when they aren’t particularly that far away from us AND they royally effed up our order is a bit cheeky. My partner was most annoyed that he had wasted £15 on a rubbish meal. Also afterwards we both had sore stomachs. I don’t know if they’re always this bad but all I know is that we definitely won’t be ordering food from them again.
