Stuff

Over the years I’ve found many strange and interesting presents in here. Will never go back and certainly don’t recommend it to anyone else. Went in today looking for a gift for a friend of mine to take back to the US. While having a good natured conversation about the joke items (willy straws, after dinner nipples etc.) we were approached by a (presumably very senior) employee who said if we didn’t like the shop we should leave. Glad you can afford to turn away customers. Here’s to your growing success.

My favourite shop in Glasgow.
If you need a bong, a bong part, lots of RooR and high quality glass.
Place has cost me a fortune but what I’ve bought, I love. A shop for smokers.
Lots of other stuff too, gift ideas etc. Not a shop for kids, not at all, but one to be visited.

Stuff is full of an array of tat, tasteless or otherwise, but I still enjoy the larks you have when you have a gander in here.
Selling a number of ornaments, varying from Betty Boop to those Bad Taste Bears dressed in gimp suits, it’s home of the tacky. They offer some toned down gifts, but it’s heaving with gifts of an adult nature. They have a huge section for adults which includes a number of jokey sex toys, and a whole load of bongs and ash trays with rasta’s on them.
It’s a good laugh if you’re looking for a funny, trashy present but I wouldn’t recommend taking your younger kids in here. Avoid the awkward conversation and the burst of giggles when they see the willy party straws. If you’re looking for that sort of thing it’s lighthearted enough.
My friend managed to bag her ex-​girlfriend a pole dancing fake Barbie doll in here, and for want of finding something so magnificently trashy I do pop my head around the door on occasion. I might ask the staff to put one aside for me to avoid the constant void I am faced with when I still can’t find it! One day, I’ll own it — apparently she dances around the pole as well. So trashy, it’s classy.

You might have noticed from my previous reviews that I have a bit of a penchant for stuff. I love going into shops that sell a wide range of stuff from singing sunglasses to shoes for dogs. This shop is basically my idea of a good time.
Stuff sells loads of useless tat, the kind of tat that you will buy on impulse thinking its cool then stick it in drawer and never look at it again. I suppose this shop kind of specialises in drug gear, which is kind of weird, as we all know that drugs are illegal and selling drug ‘utensils’ probably should be too. But, no one seems to bat an eyelid and you can buy a variety of rolling papers, bongs and the rather controversial legal highs including ‘Giggle Pills’ which just make you laugh for ages. Hmm.
Stuff also sells gothicy kind of dark figurines and things you would find in Hellfire like statues of dragons holding crystal balls which I find repulsive. You can also buy adult funny stuff, like pasta in the shape of genitalia and soap on a rope shaped like boobs. LOLSA. My friend bought me a rose from here for Valentines that says ‘hot stuff’ on it, and opens up to reveal the cheapest, tackiest G String I have ever seen. Awesome present.
Come and have a browse if you’re looking for a laugh… Just don’t bring your mum, she might not find it as funny as you do.

A bit of a weird shop. Half head shop, half everything else. They do stock some really cheap candles (my reason for visiting) but this is really more of a place to go if you’re after a fancy bong (which I’m not) or some weird legal-but-perhaps-shouldn’t-be substances. The window display is always random.

It has some obscurities in here that cant readily be summarised, but can best be described as stuff.
For the most part though, it is a drug paraphilinia paradise with a variety of bongs and herbal highs on sale.
They also have a staggering range of cigarette papers including Zig Zag where most tobacconists only stock Rizla.
You can pick up some crazy stuff in here and the first time I went in I sort of felt like I was breaking the law just by being there, looking at a fake cigarette lighter that you can hide pills in with a mixture of awe and wonder.

A place that really just sells everything tacky, tasteless and offensive, Stuff is peculiar in that despite selling dildos, wacky ornaments, bongs and hallucinogenic drugs, it’s actually quite a professional, well organised operation, with properly uniformed staff who know the product range.
Whether it’s a lava lamp or a wind up «wanking monkey» you’re after, Stuff is the ideal place ro buy a gift foe someone you don’t like, and also great fun to have a look in as long as you’re not easily offended.

Catering to dobbers, Stuff is a daft shop under the illusion it’s cool and zany because it sells bongs and lots of things involving topless women.
It is never, ever out of the news, and there have been several campaigns to shut this place down after yet another prepubescent teen has taken one of their legal highs and ended up running through the town bollock naked, waving a home-​made swastika.
Unless you are a complete and utter moron, walk on by.

Definitely not a shop for children, or the faint hearted, this place is the fevered dream of a mad man. Literally, anything you could ever want, any gothicy/​alternative «stuff» could be found in here — gothic figurines, medieval based items (real metal shields/​swords and everything), collectable figures, beanbag chairs, Betty Boop merchandise, bongs, herbal highs, flavoured tobaccos, shishas… and that’s only one half.
The other half, shall we say, is devoted to «adults» — that’s a whole 2 aisles of ‘adult fun’ (ahem). You’ve got the usual ‘adult’ joke gifts (dirty keyrings, ‘hilarious’ mugs, etc), the slightly ‘naughtier’ items (anything and everything shaped like genitals), and the downright disturbing (talking vibrators (one had the voice of an ‘angry’ man, that when turned on announces (read: YELLS) «I’M NOT IN THE MOOD!» or «I’VE GOT AN HEADACHE!“in a Yorkshire accent — lovely…), or how about the ‘pervy old man’s walking stick’ i.e. a walking stick with a mirror upturned so that ‘pervy old men’ can look up girls skirts…) and everything in between (oo-​er *shudder*).
Take from that what you will… I personally found it quite funny — but then again, I don’t take it too seriously, and to be honest, I don’t think the 180 year old woman behind the cash register does either. So go in, have a laugh or 5. At least it’ll give you something to talk about afterwards…

Absolutely brilliant shop, the range of smoking accessories including bongs, water pipes and also legal energy pills, Ed Hardy’s stuff! THIS PLACE IS A MUST!

This place is the ideal place to get that truly unusual, different and funny present .
A lot of the stuff is quite gothic in style but it also has a lot of naughty gifts that are truly excellent .
They also do a great range of fairy inspired figurines and other gadgets that you will love .
I really advice a visit if you are finding it hard to get something for the person who has everything or you really don’t know what to get them .
