Two stars states «meh. I’ve experienced better». If that was «meh. I’ve experienced better abuse from a 5 year old ponytailed girl» then a doubler it would be. But a 5 year old hugging her dolly has more wit.
If you’re a hovel loving football fan who relishes chanting abuse at the polis sitting in their vans across the road, then this is your place. If you’re a semi-​sophisticated gent around town, then it isn’t. Trust me!

Sometimes you have to experience the bad to be able to appreciate the good.
There’s nothing really wrong with the place, other than it was about 45 degrees Celsius inside. It’s just not the sort of place I want to be in at this stage in my life. Maybe when I’m in my flat cap wearing days it’ll make sense.
It’s an «old man pub» on the Southside of the river. I kinda knew what it was going to be like, and I was right. There’s a social club feel to it. Formica and linoleum décor and bars on the windows more to keep the customers in than keep the bricks out.
Wide selection of beers from Tennants Lager to Tennants Special, this is complemented by the vast range of whiskys on offer, everything from The Famous Grouse to Scottish Leader.
It’s a pub, it sells pub juice, if you want pub juice, this place has some. Simple.
