I visited the Vue cinema at the Glasgow Fort for the first time on 7^th January 2016 and I was extremely impressed by the facilities, the seating and the ticket pricing. The only issue I have is the exorbitant pricing in all cinemas of drinks and confectionary

I was out with a few friends, we where all looking forward to the new James Bond movie just out.
This was my first time at this cinema and it worked out a few pounds cheaper than the one in Glasgow city centre.
If you are buying snacks here be aware that there is an Asda just a few minutes and you can buy your items there, some items nearly four times cheaper.
A pack of M&M’s where £3.95 and Asda was £1.00 that’s s massive £2.95 of a difference.
The cinema area was small but the seats where comfortable.
I couldn’t get a phone or wifi signal anywhere. I would come back to this cinema.

Great cinema — always clean, never too busy so waiting times are low, nice comfortable seats and unlike a lot of cinemas the rooms are nice and warm! It’s tough to find a parking space at the Fort, though, but lots of good choices for food if you want to have something to eat before or after the film.

We visited early on a Saturday morning for a kids AM screening. The cinema was quiet and we didn’t need to queue for hours to get our tickets and popcorn. I know how frivolous of me I bought popcorn at the multiplex. Oh ok, so kids AM not only means discounted tickets but also a child appropriate portion of popcorn that doesn’t necessitate remortgaging.
This is still a pretty new cinema so whilst smaller than some it is all lovely and clean, fresh and lacking the lingering smell of nacho cheese sauce that permeates other big cinemas — yep Cineworld I’m talking about you.
It’s allocated seating, but given that we were there pretty sharp we had plenty of choice and despite just going for the standard seats they were really comfy. It is reassuring to come to a cinema which has taken on board that their patrons might like to watch the film without their knees in their ears.
The film, Paddington, was so good. I’d thoroughly recommend it and to be honest this vue is the nicest cinema I’ve been to in ages so all in all a pretty grand day out.

I visited this cinema for the first time this month and was really impressed! Seats were very comfortable and the place was really clean. I attended the première of the new Colin Firth film and it was a great wee night! The cinema is very modern with great parking and handy places to eat right next door, this is definitely a winner!

You can’t complain about a cinema really, friendly staff, nice seating area, no delays etc. you can have a beer/​wine in this cinema which is good but a bit pricey. Meal deals are offered like all cinemas and you an opt for the VIP seat or 2D/​3D. Glad it opened at the fort.

I’m back… after trying many a password I’m finally back!
I was here a few weeks ago with the man to see a movie of which the title escapes me… been that long!
It’s a cinema… so what can I really say? It’s a lot smaller than your standard Cineworld or Odeon multiplex but its quite dainty and cute. On the way in your met by eco friendly escalators (!!!) They only turn themselves on and move when the sensor is triggered by someone standing on the steps, so its quite cool!
Overall its good and handy! And perfect if you fancy a movie after a day shopping!

I actually really like this new Vue branch. I’m normally always going to the Hamilton one, so it’s nice to drive a short 15 minutes from my house to get a nice new experience in this one.
This new Vue Cinema at the Fort is definitely substantially smaller than the one I’m used to in Hamilton, but I think I prefer it for this reason. Situated above 4 restaurants in the middle of a shopping centre, you’d think it would be absolutely chaotic, but it was relatively quiet the night we went, and that was for orange Wednesdays as well!
The staff seemed pleasant and competent for a new opening, and I thoroughly like this wee cinema! I’m sure it’ll get busier the more people notice that it’s there, especially with the restaurants underneath!
