This library is situated on the roundabout on Moorfield Road in Brockworth. It’s conveniently located in the middle of the village. The library is well equipped and well maintained. It always has a lovely, relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There are a number of PCs that are available to the public — these are very popular with teenage boys when school is out! The children’s section is fantastic, with hundreds of books for all age groups, small comfy seats, a wooden bead toy and a new crawl-through tunnel. The librarians are all very friendly towards the children and the Baby Bounce and Storytime sessions are well worth a visit. The adult section is fairly well stocked. There are also DVDs which can be rented overnight or for a full week, and the prices are very reasonable. It’s a shame that the library isn’t open more often, but this is hardly their fault and they do open on a varieties of days and times so there’s sure to be a convenient time for everyone.
