I went here to buy a piece of brisket for a family gathering. I slow cooked it for 4 hours in a home made bbq sauce and turned it and basted it every 30 minutes. I worked really hard to present a well cooked juicy beef dish that could be pulled apart and put into subs. The meat was in edible. It was pure gristle and it went in the bin. A disaster. So it completely ruined the day and everyone would have gone home hungry if it wasn’t for the birthday cake.

Moved up the road, now part of The Fish Shop on the corner (family).
Family Butcherr Home Cooked Meats, Traditional Sausages. I have tried the unsmoked and smoked bacon from here, nice and thick like what bacon should be like, tasty. If having a bacon sarnie remember to cut a bit of the rind off as the ends are really thick and all the bacon will come out of the sarnie when you take a bite. Afraid to say that my Husband has tried their Faggots and he was not impressed, did not like at all. However will try other produce from here.
