We are a fabric wholesaler offering a fast, reliable and friendly service with no minimum order value. We mainly supply to bridal manufacturers, bridal designers and fabric shops. We also sell to members of the public.

History

Established in 1996.

The company was formed in 1996, originally offering cut lengths just on basic qualities, like satins, chiffons and satin back shantung. We moved the business from our home to business premises in January 2000. Around 2001 we started to significantly expand our range of better quality specialist fabrics like laces, embroideries and beaded fabrics. Then in 2004 we started running the edgings and motifs, of which we now offer nearly 300 designs. More recently in 2009 we started running a range of crystal accessories, including brooches, buckles, clasps and chains, as well as crystal and pearl buttons. In October 2012 we moved into our current premises, which are twice the size as before.

Michael has sold fabrics ever since he left school, originally for other companies and then through his own business. He set up Michael’s Bridal Fabrics in 1996 as he saw a niche in the market for cut lengths for bridal fabrics.
