went there today for the sunday carvery, absolutely beautiful. costs £9 for 2 courses. you can fill up as many times as you like on the starters. mains u get a choice of turkey, pork or beef. u can fill up with as many Yorkshire puds as u want and as many veg and potatoes as you want. only downside was the wait at the bar area for the initial drinks.

I went to
in Chafford Hundred for lunch around Easter time. It has plenty of parking and a designated kid playing area and therefore ideal for family.
We went for the 2 for £9 menu. The missus chose Grilled Gammon Steak and I went for Hand-​battered Fish & Chips. We also ordered Crispy Fried Whitebait which I think is quite unusual.
The Whitebait is actually very nice and I think it will go down well with a pint.
The main, they are ok consider the price. It definitely fill you up nicely and good value for money!
The only thing that let it down is that it takes so long to order the food. There were only 2 – 3 people on front of me but I have to wait for a long time — the person at the till dont know the menu at all! Otherwise the food is adequate. The setting of the place in comfortable and family friendly and services from most of the are good.
