Phoenix Karate Schools

The club itself founded in 2007, is run by a Husband and Wife team who have over twenty-​five years experience as instructors of Korean Karate.
My Daughter has trained with them, first at their previous club and more recently, at the Phoenix, for over three years. The confidence and help with concentration that she has gained through this training has shown in other areas of her life such as school.
A team of dedicated AMA qualified instructors run classes in the Great Yarmouth region with classes available at Great Yarmouth, Martham, Oulton Broad, Gorleston and Hopton.
The classes although offering the structure and discipline required to take the students to Black Belt & beyond, offer a fun filled but respectful environment in which children can interact with adults and children of all ages. Adults are also well catered for and with some deciding to take up Karate at the same time as their children; age appears to be no barrier.
The Phoenix Karate School is a member of the Amateur Martial Association, (AMA), the largest martial arts association in Great Britain, and students are given the opportunity to compete. In the short time since the club was formed their members have accumulated an impressive number of trophies and medals with students from the club already making the AMA England squad

Although this is a fairly new club, the instructors have over 25 years experince in teaching Karate and my son has been training with them for three years. The classes are excellent and fun, plus it gives children and adults the opportunity to mix with all age groups. The club offers classes in Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Outon Broad and Caster, so its accessable for anyone living in these areas. There is opportunties to compete and some of the students are also in the AMA England squad. If you want your child to gain confidence and self control then this is the ideal activity.
