If you’re seriously into music then this is a place to visit. Situated in a little complex across the road from freshney place is what I describe a vinyl heaven. The shop has a massive range of new and (mostly) second hand vinyl records. There are some cd’s, dvd’s and other formats available but the majority of the stock is good old fashioned vinyl records!
The stock ranges from some 50’s and 60’s classics through the great rock era of the 70’s, goth, new wave, punk, early 80’s and then the new wave of british heavy metal of the 80’s followed by the resurgent glam rock and heavy metal of the early 90’s right through to the more modern indie and grunge. The only problem I have is not having enough time to spend here — it’s very easy to lose a hour or two leafing through the records — and not having enough money to buy everything I want. The records are usually in excellent condition and the owner will play them there for you to see that there are no jumps or scratches. I’ve never had a problem buying from here. Love it.
