History

Established in 2005.

Rowan Creative started in March 2005 as a freelance venture, largely focused on promotional writing. At the time, much of the commissioned written output was for the websites and print media for performing artists.

In 2008 Rowan Creative was formally launched as a company providing a range of creative services which included the emerging field of social media management. At that time the company had responsibility for running the Myspace accounts of a record label and music venue. This in turn expanded into the professional administration of Facebook pages and Twitter accounts for independent businesses. At the same time, an existing long-​standing professional photography service was incorporated into the company, adding an additional level of creative options for clients.

Over the years, Rowan Creative’s client base has evolved, catering to all kinds of ventures, including artists, restaurants, therapy practices and traders’ associations. The company also works with charities.
