When we first moved here, Kokoro was our go to place for chicken katsu and quick treats. Unfortunately, several months ago the quality seemes to fall and that hasn’t changed. The chicken tasted rancid the past few times I tried it and the other dishes were no better. The wide range of pre packaged items like drinks and doryaki are nice, but don’t justify taking a chance with a sensitive stomach.

Excellent ‘hole in the wall’ style Asian bento food. Limited seating inside and out but the queue takes up most of the room anyway. Staff are helpful and friendly and very swift to serve. It’s easy to see why this place is always packed.

Okay I’ll start with the positives. Great food, best I’ve had in a while, great pricing too. 6.95 for a meal that fills you up is not bad at all, the portions were fairly large however the only problem is the sitting area size! I think there was 6 chairs in there and for a popular up and coming business you need to be having more than that surely. However if you were to take away, great place to eat.

They serve really fast! Ideal when you’re running out of time for lunch !
