Close to Guildford town centre and within easy and pleasant walking distance of Guildford Station you will find Dapdune Wharf. There is a visitors centre that tells the stories of people who were involved with the building and travel on the River Wey. You can also take a boat trip but this costs extra to the admission charge and is often booked up so worth booking in advance. The Reliance (a real barge, which is enormous) has recently been refurbished and I believe is now reopened to the public.
