Its a good modernish standard pub nice clean welcoming. It has a bit of a patio. Beer is Sheperd Neame not very well kept.

This is a great pub with a good atmosphere but not a very good one if you’re planning on getting very, very, drunk! That’s mainly because it’s such an old building most of the floors aren’t straight. Apart from that this pub has oodles of character. The multitude of features makes this venue a nice place to explore and gives it a homely feeling. It’s a good place to sit for a cup of tea and something to eat in the day as food is of a reasonable price and the tea is well made. They will also refill your pot with hot water for free. The drink selection is acceptable in the evenings and this pub has a famous gig venue attached. It can get quite busy, but this is normal. Of all the limited places to go out on an evening in Guildford, this is one of the best.

A good traditional pub at the bottom of the high street which seems to have a rabbit warren of places to sit(mind your head when you head to the toilets, particularly if you’ve ‘had a few’!)

Old building, split level selling Shepherd Neame beer. Live music weekends. Haven’t eaten here but beer OK Edit: Was told rather than asked to move as a group wanted the area we were sitting in. I don’t take kindly to such rudeness so drops from 4 to 2 stars. Am in no hurry to return
