Tong Tong Chinese Takeaway

Best Chinese takeaway I’ve found in Guildford (and I have tried a few). Very good for allergies. Portion sizes and prices very reasonable!

Since moving to Guildford a year ago we have used Tong Tong many times often too many times! Their menu is very good and there are occasionally new additions. My partner is a vegetarian and regularly comments on the high quality of their vegetarian options, while I can highly recommend the duck and shrimp chow mein.
We have often taken advantage of the free delivery which is a huge bonus (even when you only live round the corner).
The staff are extremely friendly and the service is efficient. Definitely the best Chinese takeaway in Guildford.

I used to use Ho Ho Takeaway in Barrack Path (Stoughton) which changed hands last year and is now completely different and not to my liking at all.
I then went on a discovery mission to find a decent alternative and tried a number of alternative takeaways in the Guildford area.
In my view TongTong came out on top.
The food is excellent, the service fairly rapid, and the value is good for the Guildford area.
I could bore you with details about the aesthetics of the waiting area but as this is not very important when you’re only there for a short time getting a meal to take home, I’ll refrain!
In short, recommended and delicious — and so far I have used it about 6 times and have found it to be consistently so.
