Doherty’s Bar

I ventured into this pub on a day out with friends in Hamilton. We decided to have a good old pub lunch to set us up fo a night out, and here seemed the perfect place.
This pub used to be known as more of a traditional ‘old man’s pub’ but in recent years has become very popular with the younger generation. It is traditional in décor and style and has a bar wih an adjoining lounge for karioke or live music.
We had very plesent lunch; i went for a chicken curry which was nice enough. It came with chips and rice, and the potion was waaay too big! Good for a hungry shopper though.
It was really quiet with minimal background noise except for the jukebox when we went, which was a nice oasis from the busy shopping centre.

Here at Dochertys in Hamilton you can get the best of both, if you fancy a quiet night out the bar is the ideal place with just background music playing. Good place to go to watch the footie also. The lounge upstairs is a great a night out with a Dj and kareoke on Fri and Sat nights open until 1am on a Fri and 12 on a Sat its very popular at the weekend.
