History

Established in 2014.

Hawk & Chadwick was established in 2014. Managing Director Alasdair Melville started the company after having worked for many of his contemporaries in the prestige real estate market in the home counties.

With more than 10 years experience across the entire property industry Alasdair grew up in the Hertfordshire village of Harpenden, attending two of the most prestigious schools in Hertfordshire: Beechwood Park Preparatory School and St Albans School for Boys. As an Agent he holds the ARLA & NAEA qualifications, having trained young professionals in both these subject areas with his PTLLS qualification. Alasdair holds masses of experience in not only sales and lettings, but has also dabbled in commercial property and regularly attends The St Albans and Hertfordshire Architectural and Archaeological Society lectures. Not only this, but he hosts St Albans Property Network and was a runner up for the Community Champion Mayor’s Pride Award in St Albans in 2015.

Alasdair has worked in the Estate Agency industry since 2006, starting his career with some of the most well known, prestigious brands in Hertfordshire. Eventually he found a path within the training industry by chance, training new up and coming agents in the NFOPP qualifications, gaining both the NAEA and ARLA qualifications himself, making him a very rare asset.

For many Sellers and Landlords, Alasdair has always been seen as the ‘go to’ man for honest and completely unbiased property advice, making him an incredibly valuable person to engage with on property, no matter how big or small.
