So after visiting the beautiful town of Harrogate twice, I can safely say that 10 Devonshire Place is one of the nicest pubs I’ve visited. I’ve not sampled the food but they seem to tick all of the boxes that you expect in an independent local pub.
Not the biggest place in the world, it can sometimes be a bit tricky to get a seat, but it’s worth waiting for. There are several beers and ciders on tap, but the best thing is the huge selection of bottled beer and cider that are situated in fridges with a help yourself service. You just pick the bottles you want out of the fridge, and take them to the bar to be opened, or alternatively you can take them home.
Such a nice ambience, and with the motto of fiercely independent, it’s a must visit for tourists and locals alike (and worth the 10 minute walk from the town centre).
