First, we assess your child’s needs and abilities

Every child has a comprehensive consultation and assessment before they start. This gives us insight into their background, and an understanding of their interests and abilities. There are many reasons why some children struggle with certain subjects so the more we know about your child, the more effective our help can be.

Then we develop a programme of personalised tuition

Every child is different. They learn in different ways and at different paces. We achieve the results we do because we mould our tuition around your child’s needs. And because the groups we teach are so small, we’re able to give individual support whenever it’s needed.

Established in 2011.

I started Genie Tutors Harrow in February 2011 after having taught in mainstream teaching for 7 years. Since this time, our highly experienced and qualified tutors have helped hundreds of children reach their potential, build great confidence and do very well in their exams. We comboine the benefits of group tuition and one to one to ensure that your child receives the very best teaching and learning, while also keeping the cost for parents very competitive. Through careful personalised planning, differentiated teaching and engagement within all lessons, Genie Tutors Harrow has proven to be a popular choice for parents.

The reason I went into teaching was to help make a positive difference to children’s lives in their education. I thrive on seeing students getting that ‘light bulb’ moment and witnessing their growth in confidence and ability over a period of time. There is no better reward than hearing about students doing well in school and ultimately achieving their potential in important exams. In addition to this, after working with children for over 20 years, I feel most confident at forging positive working relationships with all students quickly and effectively and instilling great belief in each and every student I come in contact with. I believe that students that have a positive experience of school and learning will get the very best out of the opportunities that they may come across and be open to ongoing learning and development. My tuition centre allows me to continue to help children in achieving their goals and realising their potential.
