Established in 2010.
James Lee first became interested in automotive engineering while working at Le Mans as a mechanic for the Paragon Porsche race team. After his extensive training at the UK’s leading Porsche service center and following his graduation, where he achieved the highest level in automotive maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 3), James’s ambitions led him to other mainstream garages, where he worked on a range of car models, broadening his vehicle portfolio.
In his time at the race circuits, James found himself consistently working outdoors, to strict time limits and under pressure. These experiences played a formative role in showing James the requirements that would be needed when running a mobile mechanic’s business.
The experience of working in the motor trade exposed James to a particular view that continues to exist amongst the public, namely, the dishonest workman. James sought to do away with this thought from potential customers and this led him to create the Mr Fix brand in spring 2
