This is my favourite fish and chip shop in Hastings.
I grew up here, I’ve eaten a lot of fish and chips here. No, it’s nothing glamorous. Just another café closer along to rock-​a-​nore. It’s not because of my love of mystical sea Gods.
I think it’s because it has remained good. A reliable, steadfast place guaranteed to do a decent chip. That right balance of greasy and crisp. That perfect batter and that fresh fishy taste of a flipper that’d been caught that mornin’. Yum
