Out of pure over zealousness, and due to the fact that I’d been busy over the next few weekends, I was very desperate to get my Christmas tree up this weekend. I know this is the time of year that those who don’t own a tree are likely to buy one. I approve of real trees — although am aware of the various ethical concerns, so prefer the artificial ones.
So, my advice for an artificial tree is to visit Homebase. About ten years ago, my parents searched high and low for a quality tree and Homebase certainly delivered. It’s giving us its tenth year of service and we’re very proud of old tannenbaum.
