Often we seek therapy when we want to find a clearer way forward.

We offer Counselling, Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Telephone Counselling.

Based in Scaynes Hill we can offer counselling covering Haywards Heath, Lindfield, Danehill, Burgess Hill etc. We are situated on the West and East sussex border so easily accessible from all surrounding areas.

Our telephone counselling service has no geographical restraints. We can offer telephone counselling for individuals across the UK. Telephone counselling enables so many more people access to a qualified and experienced counsellor whereas face-​to-​face counselling has restraints if you find it hard to travel, work late, worried about anonymity etc.

History

Established in 2003.

Seeds of Change Therapy was founded in 2003 after realising a need for counselling and therapy in Mid Sussex.

Having offered purely Counselling and Psychotherapy for a just over a year, we wanted to be able to offer more «approaches» to therapy.

Believing that each client is different with different needs and goals we wanted to ensure we were able to offer different forms of therapy to «match» those needs.

Seeing hypnotherapy as a highly effective form of therapy for many issues that clients may bring, studies took place!

In 2012 we launched our telephone counselling service. Wanting to be able to offer counselling to those who, for many reasons, may not have been able to attend face-​to-​face counselling sessions.

We are now able to offer telephone counselling to those clients who, in the past didn’t have access to therapy due to time or work restraints, who were unable to travel or leave a loved one to attend the session. Also, we can offer more flexible appointments than before.

Elaine Cripps — Founder — Seeds Of Change Therapy.

Having experienced the benefit of both Counselling and Hypnotherapy in my own life, I wanted to train in becoming a therapist myself.

I decided that counselling was a vocational career I would like to persue. Having completed a foundation course, I enrolled on a two year Diploma course which included both qualifications of: «Advanced Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling» (awarded by The Counselling & Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body) in 2002 and finally the B.A.C.P (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) Accredited Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling in 2003.

Wanting to develop further as a therapist, I wanted to develop my training to include Hypnosis as a form of therapy.

I researched the «best school» for Hypnotherapy Training and enrolled on the Uncommon Knowledge Diploma in Brief Solution-​Focused Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Diploma. I qualified with this Diploma in 2004.
