What a lovely coffee shop this is; a bit of a hidden gem and such a welcome change from the imposing chains that litter Henley today. The coffee was good and the tea selection was varied and interesting. There’s not much choice of food but who needs more than fresh fruit, cake and a hot toastie anyway? The staff were sweet natured, helpful and clearly happy in their work which makes the café feel relaxed and friendly. The décor is homely and welcoming and the place was very tidy. There’s plenty of room for pushchairs and it’s child friendly with highchairs and a chalk board to scribble on to keep our little ones amused. Three cheers for the independents, I say, let’s treasure and maintain them with our patronage! Made my day it did :-)

Second time I have walked out of this place in a week, I was in for a massive wait just to place order let alone get served, they have got it all wrong!

One of three major coffee shops in Henley, this one boasts a great location at the top of the Market Place and also has table and chairs set out on the paved area — so you can get the full Parisienne experience of sipping over-​priced coffee whilst watching the world go by.
Unlike the evil empire of Starbucks, this place has become a bit of haunt for the local teens — so you may be included in a bit of Leev it aah Wayn. Eee aint wurf it! whilst you’re trying to relax.
Prices, as mentioned — and for all these types of places, are a little on the high side. Due to the constant attentions of the teens, the place could do with a bit of a makeover. Other than that though, there is nothing in this place to greatly offend.

Good coffee and lovely fresh sandwiches — but only if you get there early enough as they tend to run out of stock pretty quickly. The other downside is the amount of time it takes to get served and it seems to take ages for them to make the coffee. That said the staff are polite and friendly enough!

Fairly sterile environment — not a lot of atmosphere.
Good selection of coffees which are a welcome change to the usual Starbucks and Costa. Sandwiches are nice, but nothing special.
Really recommend the cookies though — they are lovely :)
