An amazing place. I love reading but had never had the inclination to visit this shop until looking for a christening present.
The collection of books is vast! The prices can be too from about fifty quid up to tens of thousands. The staff were incredibly helpful and, not as I first feared, judgmental about my total lack of knowledge around book collecting.
I could happily spend hours in the shop going through the books and, after leafing through some of the more affordable ones, can now see the charm of book collecting.
Even if you’re not in the market for buying, pay a visit and experience the history.
