Stayed here our last night in the UK. Close to Gatwick Airport. Langshott is a 16th century manor house turned B and B and restaurant. A very cool place with tons of charm, history, beautiful gardens and great food. If you like historic properties, you will like Langshott. Got there in the late afternoon after visiting Stonehenge. A nice gentleman came out to the car and helped us with our luggage. We booked about a week in advance which was late notice so we didn’t have a choice of rooms. We stayed in the Scotney Room which was still very comfortable and had an extra large bath with a clawfoot tub. The room overlooked one of the many gardens. After drinks, we enjoyed a multi-course dinner in the Mulberry Room which was excellent… top notch service and food. We had breakfast there the next morning before heading to the airport. We went continental due to our time constraints but they also offered hot breakfast items as well. Again, great service and a nice selection of breakfast items. We are pretty picky travelers and I must say we really liked this place. It’s the perfect place to stay upon arriving at Gatwick or the day before leaving.
