Wildwood is a great social place for when you want to meet up with friends. The staff aren’t the most friendly but are tentative and the service has always been quick. I’ve eaten here on a few occasions and although the food is nice, it isn’t really anything to write home about. They have a good range of alcoholic drinks and a bar area you can sit in. You might need to make a reservation on Friday and Saturday nights as it does get busy.

Place rating: 4 Hornchurch, United Kingdom
Wildwoods is located in the centre of Hornchurch, when i say centre, its location commands a prime position where the High Street, Station Lane and Upminster Road converge on each other. Formally a pub of some long standing, and now has been rebuilt and and converted into two restaurants, both providing Italian style cuisine. Wildwoods. Having dined here on a number of occasions I am unable to find anything that i didn’t like about it. The service has always been pleasant with a friendly touch to it, The food has always been cooked to my liking. The meatballs in tomato sauce with melted cheese with a hint of rosemary made for a nice first course, the chicken and pancetta rigatoni in a creamy sauce was cooked just how i liked it, sadly We didn’t have time for dessert as we were off to see Lee Evans at the O2(which was subsequently cancelled) NB: Wildwoods shares its position in the high street with ASK, but Wildwoods wins hands down for service, food and atmosphere.
