I need new eyes. I’ve been going with the same pair of contact lenses for 2 months now, and they’re making my eyes red. Usually, I would just use my glasses instead, but something happened. They were first purchased in 2001, and I guess my head got wider in the 9 years that followed, as the frames now squeeze the side of my head. They are so small that I often get headaches after wearing them. I had a tough time deciding which was the lesser of two evils (itchy red eyes vs. head caught in a vise grip). I decided to choose neither, and instead chose to purchase a new set of contact lenses, and a new set of frames.
Boy, frames are expensive. D & A has a great selection to choose from, all designer brands. I had my eyes set on an expensive set of Raybans, but the price exceeded what was in my wallet. The staff is very helpful in assisting you choose the best pair of frames, though. My head is round, like a toilet seat, so only a certain type of frame fits. The staff member assisted me greatly with the frame selection, and even backed off once I told him that I had no money to purchase both contact lenses AND frames. As for the contact lens purchasing front, that went very smoothly. I had my prescription ready, and I received my contacts in only a few days. A great shop.
