A real regulars/local pub –not that you’ll be made to feel unwelcome but the three to four people who are stapled to the bar will check you out when you enter which can be a little disconcerting. Range of beers not as good as it used to be before it was taken over recently –normally a good beer but limited choice. Mono syllablic landlord but he knows his beer. Very, very good reputation for food at the moment at very reasonale prices. Has always been a good pub but isn’t overly kiddt friendly.
