History

Established in 2011.

Restaurant @ Brandy hole was previously a yacht club since the 1930’s. Debbie and her family took over the club in 2010 and re-​furbished and re-​opened in 2011 as a restaurant and venue. Now licensed to hold ceremonies and any events, with a beautiful view overlooking the river Crouch. The restaurant now offers seafood and grill, with our own fish smoked in house and is open to everyone.

Business Owner

My passion for the restaurant industry started at a young age when I started waitressing at local events and then in local pubs and restaurants. I eventually worked my way up to manager.

Having bought the yacht club in 2010 and transferring it into a modern day restaurant and wedding venue, with the help of my fellow employees, I re-​opened it 2011 as a seafood restaurant & venue.

As an outgoing and lively person I thrive on meeting new people and renewing old acquaintances.

I am hard working, motivated and constantly thinking of new ways to promote the business, as well as new ways to increase staff motivation.

I love to travel — I have travelled in Australia, America, Canada and Europe and would like to perhaps work abroad one day — who knows — perhaps in a restaurant in a foreign country!

I feel that my travels have broadened my horizons and have enabled me to hone my ‘people skills’ to their current high level.
