History

Established in 2010.

Creative Director Ola Animashawun, formerly head of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, and Company Manager Nadine Renton met at the Royal Court Theatre in 2009. Both company directors saw a gap in the playwriting course market and established Euphoric Ink to support older, time-​limited beginner playwrights.

Business Owner

Ola has 25 years experience of working in theatre, with 15 years specialist experience in the field of play writing workshops and script development. He is an Associate Director of the Royal Court Theatre, described by the New York Times as ‘the most important theatre in Europe’ because of its work with new playwrights, and he leads introductory playwriting courses at theatres across the country. Ola is Artistic Associate at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, a Freelance Presenter, Script Editor/​Advisor and Outdoor Theatre Producer.
