I was visiting a friend in Ilford and he suggested getting some take-​out Chinese from Kim Wah. I was pleasantly surprised. Generous portions, free prawn-​crakers and cans of drink with every order. My food was very tasty, but its not Michelin standards. The owner, Kam, is a real character, and he’s happy to customise any dish. He’s also open for lunch 12−2pm. Take-​out only.
