It’s not a bad pub, but it’s not exactly interesting or unique. Nice staff but the chain menu is pretty expensive for what you get.
There are better local pubs in Wanstead.

If you like Harvester you’ll like it here, although it is named Red House-​Beefeater, it does cater for vegetarians.
The menu is pretty extensive. This time around I had wholewheat pasta with vegetables and pesto, which was really nice, the only gripe I have is that £10 for a plate of pasta with a few veg and pesto is a bit pricey.
The atmosphere is nice and they do refillable drinks.
They have quite a few desserts to choose from, all of them sound so so good. We had the choc brownie sundae, which was really tasty and HUGE.
The staff are really friendly and willing to accommodate your needs.
