Having recently started creating a scrapbook for photos and bits and pieces I’ve collected, I had to dip into Paperchase to pick up some pretty paper for my pages! Paper is a small part of what Paperchase actually sell, and before I even got to the section I was heading for, I was distracted by all kinds of notebooks, pencilcases, storage, stationery… the list is endless! Their plain scrapbooks ARE a little pricey and I bought mine elsewhere, but for decorative crafty bits, I LOVE Paperchase. Some do say Paperchase products are slightly expensive for what they are but I actually find their prices super reasonable. I bought two sheets of colourful, well-made wrapping paper for £1.25 per sheet, and some washi tape for £3. They also have a Paperchase loyalty cards, which gives you 15% off your next shop after you sign up, and £5 free on your birthday! If you’re looking for fun papercraft accessories, Paperchase has a limited but well-considered range. I also recommend their cute notebooks, craft sets and pretty bits and pieces as gifts — it’s the kind of place you can find a present for pretty much anyone!

Oh I do adore Paperchase! I just bought a postcard that says it all: «I love you so much it hurts». Hurts my wallet that is. Or to be more accurate, my husband’s credit card ;) Wish they did gift registries!

It’s not just paper Laura N! They have cool gifts too and some great stocking fillers. I especially like the temporary tattoo gel pens there at the moment as a great secret Santa present and there’s lots of other stuff too. Being a stationary geek, this is where I now waste time when I arrive early to see a movie since the demise of Borders.

Paper. An entire store for… wait for it… paper. With a failing economy, jobs being cut everyday, people not able to pay their rent, credit debt at an all time high, impending terrorism warnings, inflation, death, destruction, and apocalyptic wrath upon us, how on Earth is a store entirely filled with paper succeeding? Are there seriously enough people chasing paper to allow this store to pay its rent? Seriously? Paper? Seriously? Seriously. I was rather disappointed that a store entirely dedicated to… wait for it… paper only offered one, yes, ONE variety of Happy Birthday role wrap. However they did offer an amazing variety of happy birthday sheet wrap, and I have to assume most people aren’t trying to wall paper an entire room with happy birthday wrapping paper. Just that weird Unilocal girl… Paper. Seriously. It’s like an entire store filled with rubber stamps… Wait. You don’t think there are actually… nah.
