Meet the Business Owner
Tom K.
Business Owner
Since qualifying in Youth & Community Work in 1995, I’ve worked for a variety of statutory and voluntary organisations in England and Wales. From establishing, developing and managing youth centres, drop-in services, community cafes, street-based work and mobile youth projects to assisting, empowering, engaging, inspiring, instructing, motivating and supporting young people, I’ve always tried to stick to my strong, social education principles: helping people to gain for themselves, the necessary knowledge, feelings and skills, in order to meet their own developmental needs and those of others.
With a strong focus on the Arts, I have created, facilitated, managed and evaluated a wide range of projects with children and young people using circus, clowning, drama, Forum Theatre, improvisation, issue-based work, mask work, scrap materials, slapstick, stage combat, street theatre, T.I.E. (Theatre in Education) and video (filming & editing).
