Bar Evissa is a pretty run of the mill nightclub in Kingston. Let’s be fair, most of the clubs here are. Evissa is known for soul and r+b, and has a night on which promises to recapture the essence of Studio 54, but I am not going to hold my breath. They also like to be known as being one of the classiest night spots in Kingston, but I’m not sure about this — not at least while they have a night on called Ladies Night — there ain’t anything classy about a Ladies Night!
If dressing up to go clubbing in a local town ticks your boxes, and you like the idea club with a VIP room, then this is the place for you. Personally there is very little that will prise me out of my converse on a night out, and experience shows that VIP rooms will always disappoint; not least because if I am able to sit in one, they must be using the term VIP incredibly loosely!
