Was recommended so had high hopes as it was our anniversary.
Didn’t mind wait as we like freshly prepared food.
Ordered flat bread and houmous which we had to ask to be brought as a starter (waitress said it was usually all brought together) Bread had been heated too long in microwave and was tough.
My meal was inedible as it had been submerged in strong soy sauce and was far too salty to be enjoyable.
Waitress was not sympathetic at all and said that the chef had tried it and that was how it was always served, and very popular.
Halfheartedly asked if I wanted anything else, but as my Husband had almost finished his indifferent burger, I wasn’t prepared for the long delay.
Wasn’t offered a refund or even free coffees which would have been nice.
All in all a big disappointment and we certainly won’t be returning.

This must be the mist comfortable bar for miles around. Great food, good selection of beers & wines, including local real ales. Prices reasonable but not cheap.

Comfy squashy leather sofas or just sit at a table ~ watch the world go by ~ have a drink ~ alcohol or coffee… good food but allow a lot of time because it does take a while to get your food but it’s usually worth waiting for & you’d sit in a bar for a while anyway wouldn’t you ~ nice menu & early bird suppers.
