Formed in 1982, Tenkay Electronics Ltd specialise in providing a turnkey solution to the electronics industry. This solution encompasses all aspects that are required to manage, control and maintain the production of electronic and electrical assemblies. Over the years we have built up an established customer base which includes a wide range of business sectors incorporating Simulation, Medical, Measurement, I C Fabrication, Security and Process management.

History

Established in 1982.

In 1984, Tenkay formed a strategic alliance with P.E.S Brighton, a sub contract assembly manufacturing company.

Merging in1996, and adopting the established name of Tenkay, our customers continue to benefit from both our established Component Distribution grounding and our Contract Manufacturing Service.

Located in Lancing, Sussex, our 17,000 sq ft factory is ideally located for all major routes across the UK and Europe.

The DEK03iX and iPulse M4e form just a section of our fully automated P.C.B line, along side the conventional flow solder line. For wire preparation we have a range of automated cutting, stripping and crimping machines. Investment in this type of automation, enables Tenkay to remain competitively priced in the market place. Cable testing is undertaken utilising Tenkay’s automatic cable testing unit for continuity, short circuit, etc. Insulation flash tests can also be undertaken.

Tenkay work to IPC-​A-​610 for PCB assemblies and IPC/​WHMA-​A-​620 for wiring assemblies.
