We are the largest, and oldest-established, British Council accredited, private language school in Leeds, UK. We hold a UKBA Tier 4 student visa Sponsor Licence, KCN57UKQ8, with Highly Trusted Sponsor status.
Students at Leeds English Language School UK work hard and achieve great results because our English language, IELTS and FCE courses are designed to help you learn the English you need. We have experienced IELTS and General English teachers to help you to achieve your potential.
We are also an authorised TOEFL test centre.
We also train new teachers in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) with our internationally recognised Trinity College London TESOL course.
In 2013 we have achieved a ‘Grade 1′ in all areas of the school in our Government appointed, Independent School’s Inspectorate (ISI) inspection and 6 areas of excellence in our British Council Inspection.

History
Established in 2000.
We started as a local privately run school in 2000 and have been growing successfully since then. Over 60% of our students come through word of mouth. We have two sites: The Victoria Road School and the Burley Road Centre and we have around 150 students year round.
The school is homely and friendly. A great place to study!
We have welfare staff to help you when you first arrive.
We have students from all over the world. Last year we had students from over 48 different countries.

Bob C.
Business Owner
Bob Charlton is a director of Leeds English Language School. He regularly travels to different countries to meet parents, students and academic agents. He has been involved with EFL for over 12 years as a teacher and in senior EFL management. He specialised in IELTS preparation and Academic English and has been an IELTS examiner. He has a BSc (Hons) in Management and has worked in Turkey, Spain, Indonesia, Australia and in the UK. He is interested in philosophy and meditation and is married with two children.
