great fair trade tea and coffee with some really yummy cakes! the soup at lunchtimes is very nice and really fills you up. reasonably priced too. only problem can be q’ing at peak times, they have a strange system where one person does your drink, another does your food and another takes the money and all becomes very confusing.

Old fahsion tea and cakes in the city centre. Lots of old people in there, but they know where the best value food and tea, so they are good guide. top notch! Can;t complain about anything.

Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned cream tea’s and even more so when its not to pricey. The best place I have found so far in the City centre is the Marks & Spencer Tea Room inside the store, where you can buy two pots of tea a selection of lovely sandwiches and scones, cream and jam all for only around £8,50 for two people. Its a little bit of luxury and heaven on a plate with a nice tea room atmosphere and good view of the city centre from the tea room windows.
