Old Vicarage

It‘s a nice relaxed pub and having been here a few times recently I can say I enjoyed it, which is rare with a lot of pubs. As it is a restaurant/​pub it makes a big difference to the overall feel, a lot more relaxed, friendly and less crowded but it still feels like a pub. You can still nip in for a quick pint or go for a leisurely drink and you don‘t get the feeling you get from some restaurant/​pubs where people stare at you if you‘re not eating. I have eaten here and the menu is very good, varied and well priced and the food itself was of a good standard, definitely worth a visit whether it‘s with the family or just a bite to eat with a friend. Absolutely one of the best pubs for a few miles in the Whetstone area if you just want a relaxing pint and a bag of crisps.
