History

Established in 1930.

Since June 2012 Withers Intersport has been supplying sports equipment from their Carts Lane shop in Leicester City Centre. Before that Withers were on Market Street for 37 years.

With a large shop, a comprehensive range of rackets, clothing, footwear & equipment and a hitting wall, for trying rackets before buying, Withers specialise in racket sports (Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Racketball, Touch Tennis). However, equipment, clothing and footwear for other sports such as Bowls, Rugby, Hockey, Running and Table Tennis is also stocked and sold.

With in-​store professional stringing (re-​stringing) services and specialist technology for racket diagnostics and tuning Withers are renowned across the Midlands as specialists in racket sports retail.

Completed unique double in winning both Tennis and Badminton Mens Singles titles in same year. One of Leicestershire Mens Tennis most capped players, representing Leicestershire for 26 consecutive years.
