Woodgate computers Leicester opened their retail shop in 2009, prior to this the business was operated from home and was only an onsite call out business.

Initially the business started off specialising in custom made gaming computers but has branched out doing repairs on Laptops, computers, smart phones & tablet pc’s.

The company has grown and now supports both home and business users.

Brought my computer here when it was running so so slow and the friendly techs here were able to have it working fast again. The guy I spoke with said he defrag’ed it, got rid of some viruses and malware, and gave me some advice on freeing up harddrive space so I don’t lose any important files, but have plenty of speed. Works so much better now, glad I did this instead of buying a new laptop much more affordable and glad that I took it here, great work, the guys really know their stuff.

Used Woodgate Computers in Leicester when my computer died on me. My main concern was my itunes and photos that were stored on the machine.
An engineer called me the same day and explained to me that my motherboard & processor had failed and it would not be viable to have it repaired as my computer was very old (6 years a long time in the computer world) and explaind my money would be better spent on a new machine.
The next day I visited the shop again and chose a lovely case from a great selection that was displayed at the shop. I was told that my data was still intact on my old machine and and that they would install my old hard drive as a slave drive so that I could access all my old files within my new computer.
The best bit is this they said they could also install my beloved XP that I was acustomed to and loved the simplicity of the operating system.
My new custom built computer was installed in my home by one of their engineers for £45 two days later, my printer and wireless connection was also configured, I was shown how to access my slave drive with all my old files on.
Overall I cannot fault Woodgate Computers, they got me out of trouble, saved my files installed XP on a new computer and saved the day. They took the time to explain to me what was going on and kept me informed every step of the way.
For personel service from a local independent computer specialist Woodgate Computers come highly recommended.
To put it in a nutshell the service and advice I recieved from Woodgate Computers was second to none, I’m now the proud owner of a custom build PC which runs like a dream, so much better that the tried old one. Very happy!
