The Heating Engineer Database (HEDB) is the home of one of the country’s largest Plumber & Heating Engineer Databases which is completely FREE for companies and sole traders to register on. There are no charges whatsoever, no subscription fees, customer enquiries are made DIRECT to the plumbers so no ‘charge for leads’ and no commission payable on works the registered plumbers get. Plumbers do have the OPTION of having a micro-​site actually on the database, which gives preferential listing on the search results plus a high calibre page of information, all for just £10 per month, on a 3 monthly contract with no cancellation fees. To ensure the success of HEDB, there is also no charge to potential customers, nor do they have to register or fill in any details apart from their location when they are searching for a plumber. HEDB is also the home of Flow & Return (f&r), a FREE interactive online plumbing magazine.

History

Established in 2013.

The Heating Engineer DataBase (HEDB) went live in March 2013. It was created as a result of a conversation between 2 of the partners (one who is a plumber the other a web developer) who felt the public needed a simple FREE facility to be able to find a plumber without having to enter personal and contact details. At the same time, the facility needed to be able to promote plumbers without it costing them any money. We think we’ve done it!
