The Evergreen Workshop, is a dedicated wood and metal workshop. i delight in making custom pieces for you to your exact requirements. This may be for in the home or the garden and we will consider almost anything but especially love garden buildings

I also specialise in custom hand made Dolls houses, Model railway and Garden railway,

We are constantly asked to repair or restore items and where possible we are always happy to help.

History

Established in 2014.

I have always undertaken projects for people mostly for the challenge and for the satisfaction in seeing their idea or dream fulfilled. This has included many custom pieces of furniture, Dolls houses, machine for moulding, mannequins and model railway boards. recently following pressure from previous clients I started my own business which I have called the Evergreen Workshop and takes it’s name from a large Yew tree at the front of the property. Visitors are welcome by appointment.

A very young 47 at time of writing, I have trained in building construction to HNC upon leaving School, From a family of woodworkers and engineers I have always loved creating things for people. I have worked in a joinery shops for some years then for a, small manufacturing company as the factory manager. Hobbies are all forms of model making including model railway and dolls houses and over the years I have created many custom houses for people both as playthings and as heirlooms.
