Café Barista appeared in Moor Lane around the same time a Costa Coffee materialized and, rather cynically, I thought by competing with the big boys it was destined to fail. I was wrong. Whenever I go, which is quite frequently, the place is thriving with quite a diverse clientele; it seems to appeal to everybody. I myself have been with a group of female friends; my family; my boyfriend and on my own. Barista offers a great menu– much more various than Costa’s overpriced sandwiches– it is high quality; always fresh and well presented, and the service is excellent.
