Dingwall Autos Car Repairs

Remember the ice age we went through at the start of this year? Well my car was not happy! I got up one morning to go to work and my car wouldn’t start — gutted. I phoned Dingwall Autos who said they would pick up my car free of charge and replace the battery for £50 (including my NHS discount!), this was a bargain compared to Halfords who wanted a bank-​breaking £85 just to buy a battery!
I booked my beloved car in straight away. I had a few phone calls throughout the day saying that they had misquoted me, I needed a different battery which would cost £65. I was annoyed but it was still cheaper than Halfords so I went along with.
I got a call at half four saying I could go pick it up — wahoo! I walk to work and the receptionist told me that the car still wasn’t starting so they thought I had a faulty starter motor and the car would have to stay. I was thoroughly annoyed by now and made my way home.
The next day I get a call saying that I do have a lazy starter motor, but the problem was that the battery they had ordered and fitted was faulty. A new was one fitted and problem solved! I’m glad they sorted the problem but seemed like a lot of hassle just for a battery!
