Highlights is situated on East Prescott Road, just round the corner from Alder Hey and a short distance from the busy Old Swan Shopping area.
Every time I go past the shop there seems to be only one customer in there, or maybe two if that. Despite the modern silver sign outside it seems that it is more of a place for ladies of a certain age to have rollers put in and get a daring blue rinse.
I went inside once to see if someone could cut my fringe for me but I was rudely told I would have to make an appointment, despite the shop being empty.
