It feels smaller and cosier compared to most other HMV stores, it’s probably the same quantity as others but packed into 2 floors. The deals are always a snatch! Customer quality is average and prices can be ups and downs depending on several factors.

The Bold Street HMV never seems to be that busy, perhaps it can’t compete with the architectural attraction and huge selection offered by the Liverpool ONE branch. It still offers all the expected attractions of a HMV store, but just lacks anything extra or over the top such as the multiple game screens for testing out the latest releases in gaming that can be found in the main HMV. That leaves the Bold street store with a bit more of a traditional HMV music focused style and I often find it a decent source for staying out of the way of the frequently busy flagship store in the busier L1 area. Always worth a browse especially in the sale!
